8.00 pm - Oscailt Oifigiúil/Official Opening by Kathleen Loughnane, harper,  tutor,  researcher, author and co-founder of the group Dordán.

​

8.30 pm - Breandán Breathnach Memorial Lecture - 'In Safe Hands: The Role of Clare Musicians in Dublin's Traditional Music Legacy' - presented by Mick O'Connormusician, collector, music historian and author.

Venue: Community Centre for both events.

 

9.30 pm to 1 am - Céilí at The Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds - Brian Ború Céilí Band

Dé Domhnaigh 6ú Iúil - Sunday 6th July

12.15 pm - Aifreann i nGaeilge/Mass in Irish at St. Joseph's Church, Miltown Malbay.

 

3.00 pm - Musical Tribute at Willie Clancy's Grave, Ballard Road.

3.00 pm - Lecture - 'The Muckross Music Collection' - presented by Mary Mitchell-Ingoldsbylecturer in Irish traditional music at University College Cork and manager of the University's Traditional Music Archive.

 

5 pm to 7 pm - Harp Recital. Venue: Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds.

8.00 pm - Fiddle Recital. Venue: Community Centre.

3 pm - Presentation: Tommy McCarthy and the London Connections: A Celebration of Irish Traditional Music and Musicians in the City, 1950s to the 1980sThe presentation will feature interviews, film clips, audio recordings and live music from the McCarthy family & friends.

Venue: Community Centre.

5 to 7 pm - Ceolchoirm Idirnáisiúnta/International Concert featuring international and Irish artists.

Venue: Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds.

8 pm - Whistle and Flute Recital. Venue: Community Centre.

3 pm - Lecture: 'The Forde and Pigot Collections: Irish Traditional Music on the eve of the Famine' - presented by Nicholas Carolanfounder and former Director of ITMA. With Caitlín Uí Éigeartaigh, he has edited recent editions of the Forde and Pigot  collections.

Venue: Community Centre.​

5 pm to 7 pm - Banjo Recital. Venue: Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds.​

 

8 pm - Uilleann Piping Recital. Venue: Community Centre.

4.30 pm - Button Accordion & Melodeon Recital. Venue: Community Centre.

8 pm - Old Style Step, Sean-nós and Set-Dancing Recital. Venue: Community Centre.
